2017 - A modest shop was opened, and it became apparent within the first week that the initial order was insufficient! Yet, undeterred, the shop continued operations. Along the way, many wonderful individuals were encountered, who soon became akin to family.⁣ The world of vintage rugs was discovered quite by accident, and a deep affection developed. Since then, it has been an ongoing adventure! Vintage rugs became the first and last thing to be looked for on every trip.⁣ Services expanded to include helping piece together complete rooms and looks for design clients. This connected the shop's aesthetic with remodels and new construction styling.

Natural Elegance: The Art of Sustainable Living with Amethyst Home.

The concept of natural home furnishings hinges on using materials that are organically sourced, sustainable, and environmentally friendly. These items are often crafted from wood, bamboo, cork, organic cotton, wool, jute, and recycled materials, reducing the environmental impact and carbon footprint. This shift towards green living not only contributes to a healthier planet but also creates a serene, calming, and wholesome aesthetic in your living space.

At the core of Amethyst Home, furniture is more than a mere functional entity. Each piece tells a story of the tree it came from, the artist who hand-carved it, or the community that it supported. A teak wood coffee table, a bamboo chair, or a cork side table, each carries a unique charm, with the grains, knots, and natural colors adding character and warmth to your home.

Rugs, another essential feature of Amethyst Home, are not merely about underfoot comfort but serve as art pieces that ground a room. Natural fiber rugs like those made from wool, sisal, jute, or sea-grass bring a tactile, organic feel. Their neutral hues and subtle textures harmonize effortlessly with any interior style, while their durability and natural repellent properties make them a practical choice.

Amethyst Home is also known for their keen attention to quality. Unlike mass-produced furniture, these pieces are often hand-crafted, ensuring durability and longevity. Their timeless designs and natural materials age gracefully, adding value and charm over time.

What truly sets Amethyst Home apart, however, is their contribution to the movement of mindful living. Every piece of furniture or rug is a reminder of our connection with the environment, and the responsibility we hold towards it. The materials used, the people it supports, and the processes followed all contribute towards making a positive impact on the planet.

In conclusion, Amethyst Home offers far more than furniture and rugs; it offers a lifestyle, a mindful choice, and a step towards sustainable living. Whether you're sprucing up your home or seeking a piece that resonates with your ethos, these shops serve as a beacon for those looking to make environmentally responsible decisions without compromising on style, comfort, and quality. It's not just about creating a beautiful home, it's about creating a better world, one furnishing at a time.

“Having a strategic funding partner like Paperstack in the e-commerce space has been a huge blessing for our business.  With the funding, we were able to fuel our growth and take advantage of marketing opportunities we wouldn’t have been able to access before. Assel has gone above and beyond to help connect me to marketing consultants, chatted with me after hours when I needed mentorship, and I love watching her live out her passion for helping entrepreneurs. The entire Paperstack team has been extremely responsive and accommodating — I thought I just needed funding but the added value of mentorship and community have been the biggest differentiator!”
